sweetgrass stems from the notion of aviary migration.
What is interesting or intriguing to you about engaging with dance for film vs. dance for stage? Or, if you are coming from a film background and working with dance is a secondary medium for you, what drew you to wanting to capture and work with dance?
Dance for film allows for immeasurable rifts in time. Film has an ability to capture the diminutive details of an organism to present both vivid strengths and exertions, pressing the dancer into the viewer all while offering vast landscapes impossible to replicate on the stage.
