César Brodermann just joined Batsheva Dance Company- The young ensemble for their 2018-2019 season
Are you holding me, or am I holding myself? Won 2nd place at Art Film Festival AVIFF in Cannes in May 2018

________

Describe, in as many or as few words as you see fit, the genesis of or inspiration behind your film.
humanity, hope, study of life and death, cycle of life, love, healing , art, movement , sharing, connecting, holding each other

What is interesting or intriguing to you about engaging with dance for film vs. dance for stage? Or, if you are coming from a film background and working with dance is a secondary medium for you, what drew you to wanting to capture and work with dance?
I am a professional dancer currently dancing for Batsheva the young ensemble in Tel Aviv, something about film that really interests me, is that I can share my art, my stories without having to be there. I can share my work from far away and it allows me to connect to people from different places/ backgrounds.
I believe film is an easier way to connect to all types of people.
Live performance will always be my favorite medium, but I love being able to combine both and share the work in different platforms and with different humans
